Welcome to “Blackout Until 2PM”, a project created by International Hottests in support of k-pop group 2PM.

The group consists of 7 members, Park Jaebum, Kim Junsu, NichKhun, Ok Taecyeon, Jang Wooyoung, Lee Junho and Hwang Chansung. Last September, 2PM lost their leader Park Jaebum, because of an Internet controversy. We want to show our desire for his return to the group, in a silent, supportive fashion.

What is the purpose of “Blackout Until 2PM”?

As we all know, there are many other 2PM fan efforts towards bringing Jaebum back to the group. However, Hottests are facing the biggest crisis right now, as we are fighting among ourselves.

Some support a boycott, others don’t. Some blame the company, others blame 6PM and even Park Jaebum for keeping the silence. But we must emphasize that this project is not a boycott and we are not against anyone.

This silent protest is civil and respectful.
Please keep this simple. A picture is worth a 1000 words.

1. Buy or make a White Mask.

-this can be a mask, cloth, handkerchief, gauze, etc.
-As long as it covers your mouth like a mask.

2. Write the words: RESPECT LEADJA in pink.

-Please only write those two words.
-Nothing more, nothing less

3. Make a sign and write only your City and State or Country on it.

- No other words. Please only write City and Country where you live.
-You may embellish and decorate the border of the paper.

4. Take a digital picture of yourself with the mask on while holding the sign.

-This is a personal portrait picture only.
-Please only include the shoulders to the top of the head in the picture.
-One person per picture.

5. Submit your picture in ONLY ONE (1) of three ways.

Other guidelines:

-You may wear a pink shirt if you wish. This is optional.
-Do not include any other signs or hand gestures.
-Keep your picture clean. No vulgar or angry words or pictures.
-Please, nothing inappropriate
-Please, nothing irrelevant to Jaebum and 2PM.
-No extra messages.
-NO captions.

*** we will approve and moderate picture submission. We will remove captions if they are included. If the picture is not appropriate or if it does not fit the guidelines, we will not post the picture.

Why do this?
That must be the most common question you might be thinking in the past few months of confusion, article turmoil and maybe some little dishonesty across the Kpop scene. We all know a lot of projects had been done to save Jay before, look around the many blogsites and fan forums - and you'll see the effort everyone's been doing.

However, most of us have been tired of this setup and somehow starting to get over the fact that maybe, just maybe, Jay isn't coming back.

For us, we want what's best for 2PM including Jay - just as long no other forces were made just to abide with such decisions. We respect whatever path they take, just as long JYP gives us the concrete answers.

So when did this all begin?
It started when news of Korean Hottests mass protest on the 31st started sprawling. Don't judge them, coz many experts and JYp 'associates' have once told that to boycott could have been the last drastic everyone can do. However, as an iHottest - there is a difference. We are scattered, on different timezones and ironically, we only know each other through the internet.

What makes us different?
This is not a project for Jay alone - because for all we know, 2PM is experiencing the same stress of his departure. Hence, a 2PM project + Jay.

So Hazel and I are reaching out to you one last time. If you are still one of those fans who wants to support the group no matter what. Hearts will break on the 31st, and what we can do is actually ease a little bit of encourage to all of them (Khottests, 2PM & Jay).

Hence this project.
What you can do so far : Participate, Spread the news and continue to support in whatever ways you can. We can't ask anything from you except this cooperation to make this project a success.

This is our project to get the message to get our message across one last time.
